The Elemental Cube™, is constructed of mostly recycled, or natural components, built for precision data collection both for thermal analysis and air quality control. The application of The Elemental Cube™ includes all year round thermal testing of real time data, within buildings that would not be possible to obtain accurate ISO approved data without. Along with providing the opportunity for product testing in practical environments to obtain any impact on the air quality, for products such as paints and plasters. This allows increased accuracy, moving away from total reliance on simulation software to predict performance based designs of buildings and product choices and now towards, improved accuracy planning and design capabilities. Thermal optimisation of buildings is yet to be perfected, however The Elemental Cube™, further enhances the Built Environment’s capabilities when retrofitting, reusing or newly building properties by offering a bespoke, real life performance analysis and plan that will allow for improved accuracy of wellbeing enhancement strategies.
The Elemental Cube™ is available with heating only, cooling only, or full heating and cooling capabilities, in a range of sizes, depending on the desired application of the product. The functionality of The Elemental Cube™ is further enhanced by its sub frame that allows for easy transportation when fully constructed, along with having the capability to alter its elevation and orientation, depending on the layout of the building and surfaces that are to be tested. The Elemental Cube™ disassembles into five light weight panels that can be stored and transported with ease. The Elemental Cube™ is thermally sealed ensuring minimal heat energy transfer, aiding in reduced running costs of the product and steady state conditions to be maintained throughout testing periods.
The Elemental Cube™ is designed and used by product manufacturers, developers, architects and individual home owners to collate bespoke and location based performance data of a building. This has significantly increased the effectiveness of wellbeing enhancement strategies, along with reducing financial costs for such improvements due to specific adjustments being possible rather than universal changes based on sample data or simulation software.
