Selfish Customs is a creative partnership between Jess Walters and Joe Kirton. The design studio is founded on experimentation and collaboration. Working with both interior designers and individual clients to produce bespoke, contemporary furniture.

The studio focus is on materiality to develop sculptural furniture pieces that have real relevance to their environment. Output is often playful, tactile objects with vibrant colour and bold structure for spatial impact. Designs are developed from the studios specialist knowledge of casting techniques. Both new and traditional materials are engaged in innovative and unfamiliar ways, to produce unique works.
