Hello! I’m Peter – I’m an Architect and Interior Designer with more than 25 years’ experience of designing beautiful homes in London, and if you’re thinking of improving the place where you live – or you’re wondering how to make the best of a place you’re planning to buy – I can help you. Whether your project involves refurbishing an existing house, constructing a new-build from scratch, adding garden buildings or extensions, or simply reconfiguring or redesigning an interior, I’d love to hear about it. Your project can be of any size – but if you’re after a home that brings a smile to your face the moment you step through your front door – let’s talk! I am a member of both the RIBA and ARB. After graduating with an MA in Architecture from the Royal College of Art in 1998, and fourteen years with other companies, I set up Peter Morris Architects in 2012, and since then I’ve focused mainly on residential work, making joyful homes for interesting people.

How did we get started?

Most of the homes I’ve designed in my life are for people who’ve never worked with an architect before, so don’t worry if this is your first time. The first step is just to get in touch. Give me a call on 020 3011 2665 or email me on peter@petermorrisarchitects.com, and let’s have a quick chat about what you’re trying to achieve. If you’re not ready to start yet, that’s fine – it’s still always good to start discussions early, because getting planning permission for a property can be a lengthy process. After our first call, if you’re keen to keep talking, I’ll come and see you at the house or flat (even if it’s just one you’re thinking of buying) – we’ll talk about ideas, what makes you tick creatively, how you live, what your dream home might look like, and how I might be able to resolve any issues in the existing building to create that joyful home for you – and then I’ll put together a quote, based on what we’ve discussed. Once I’ve produced a quote for you, I’ll call you to talk it through, and you can ask any questions you might have. And then we’ll either decide to work together, and the design process can get underway as soon as you’re ready – or if you decide not to hire me, the above process will of course cost you nothing.
